At Ecofitness, we are incredibly proud of our powerhouse team of seven phenomenal coaches. Each one brings their own spark, specialty, and passion to our communityâand together, we bring over 52 years of coaching experience to the floor. From strength training to yoga flows to feel-good Zumba, meet the heart of Ecofitness:
đïžââïž Korina Duffy â Founder & Head Coach. The beating heart of Ecofitness, Korina began her fitness career teaching 18 classes a week in Galwayâincluding weights, boot camp, kettlebells, and Zumbaâbefore moving to Dublin to expand her coaching journey and build the Ecofitness community we know today. Coaching since 2010, Korina has committed herself to continuous growthâpersonally and professionally. Every year, she invests in further education and training to evolve as a coach, a value that sits at the core of Ecofitness. We believe in upskilling annually so we can always give our clients the very best. Now 43, Korina champions strength training for men and women over the age of 35, leads group fitness, kettlebell, and strength and conditioning classes, and runs 80% of our online 30-minute live workouts via the app Ecofitness by Korina. While our coaching team is 90% womenâdonât be fooled. Many of our male members will tell you itâs the lady coaches who are the most relentless when it comes to results.
đ„ Petra â Strength & Flow Specialist. Petra, aka âThe Machine,â brings intensity and finesse to every class. Coaching since 2008, she mixes body pump, strength, yoga, and Pilates with music that powers you up and keeps you moving. She and Korina go way backâfriends and colleagues since their early gym days seven years ago. If youâre after full-body strength, flexibility, and serious core work, Petraâs the one.
đȘ Steve â Aka Ste -The Gentle Giant. Steve joined Ecofitness this year and has already become a key player. With experience in strength, kettlebells, fat loss, and yoga, Steve blends serious structure with grounded energy. He plans classes six weeks in advance, arrives early, and DJs his own playlistsâhis vibe rises with the music. His yoga sessions are calm, focused on breathwork, mobility, and flexibilityâperfect for restoring the body and mind.
đ Shauna â Dance-Driven HIIT. Queen Shauna fuses high-energy movement with music, bands, and light weights for heart-pounding, feel-good classes that donât hold back. Whether you're wearing headphones or bouncing with the beat, her classes are cardio gold. Donât let the dancey vibe fool youâeveryone leaves drenched in sweat.
đȘ Paige â Relentless Strength & Sweat. One word: relentless. Paige delivers strength classes with circuit-style flair, high energy, and just the right amount of fire. She combines resistance training, core work, and a bit of HIIT to help you build strength and leave on a serious endorphin high. Lunchtime workouts will never be boring again.
đ Lou â Zumba Joy on a Friday. Louâs Friday morning Zumba is the highlight of the week. With up to 7,000 steps packed into a 45-minute class, people show up for the smiles, energy, and easy-to-follow moves. Lou proves that you donât need rhythm to have fun. If you're smiling, youâre doing it rightâand everyone leaves happier.
đ§ââïž Barbara â The Calm Collective. Once a client, now an integral part of the team, Barbara trained as a yoga instructor in India and brings deep calm and clarity to every class. She blends yoga flow, sound baths, and breathwork to create a soothing space that strengthens your body while calming your mind. Her energy is peaceful, and her classes are always fullâfor good reason.
