The EcoFitness Story Empowered Fitness in South Dublin: Strength, Connection and Real Support in Perrystown and Ballycullen 

At EcoFitness by Korina Duffy, we are more than just workouts. 
 
Everyone always asks where the name EcoFitness came from. Long before we had studios in Perrystown and Ballycullen, we were already building an online community—before online communities were even a thing. Back then, we were running classes fully online, helping people stay active while avoiding the need to commute to the gym. That meant we were saving tons of CO₂ every year, simply by working out from home. 
 
To build on that impact, EcoFitness committed to planting trees—one every month for every paid member. So far, we've planted over 10,000 trees and we’re not stopping anytime soon. That’s where EcoFitness got its name: a commitment to wellness for both people and the planet. 
 
Post-COVID, we were blown away by the encouragement from our community—people kept asking if we'd bring back in-person classes. So we did. Just four years ago, we relaunched in Perrystown with only 13 monthly members. Today, we proudly support over 130 in-person members across both studios—and counting. 
At the same time, our online coaching community has stayed loyal and strong for over six years, and recently it’s been expanding rapidly once again. More and more members are loving the flexibility of combining in-person training with online sessions through our coaching app. It’s made consistency easier than ever. 
 
Two Studios. One Purpose. 
 
As our community grew, we expanded from our original Perrystown base into The Park, Ballycullen—now proudly serving Terenure, Templeogue, Rathfarnham, Knocklyon, Ballycullen, Kimmage, Crumlin and Scholars Town. Our schedule was built to support real lives, offering everything from mobility and strength, to flexibility and recovery—all under one roof. 
 
Whether you're coping with back pain from long desk hours, adjusting to new work-life rhythms, or simply craving structure after years of disruption, EcoFitness has you covered. 
 
Who We Serve: Real People, Real Goals 
 
Most of our members are over 40 and looking to boost muscle, bone, and mental health—but we welcome adults of all ages. Whether you’re in your 20s or 60s, you’ll find support, education, and guidance here. We help members navigate perimenopause, manage hormonal changes, and move safely around injuries—all with coaching grounded in compassion. 
 
Group Training, Elevated 
 
Across both studios, we offer an energising variety of classes, including: 
• Strength and Conditioning • Kettlebell Workouts • Yoga and Pilates (two sessions of each every week) • Zumba and Body Pump • 30-Minute Express HIIT • Hyrox Training (every Thursday in Perrystown) • Winter Series: Boxing, Cardio Rave and more 
 
Both studios are fully equipped with dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, mats and bars, giving each member access to their own personal set of equipment. Members simply choose the weights that best suit their fitness level and gradually increase over time—making progressive overload safe, effective, and achievable. 
EcoFitness has grown from just one coach to a team of seven amazing coaches who now look after all of our members across both studios.
